FAQs

1. Can I stay longer in Iran that I have planned?
Yes you can extend your 30-day Iran Visa validity if you wish to stay longer in Iran. If you have obtained your Visa through an embassy, you can extend your Visa twice and each time for 30 days. But in case you have got your Visa on arrival at the airport you can only extend it for 14 days. Keep in mind that the final decision regarding this matter is up to the Foreign Affairs officers.
For more detailed information read about visa extension in Blog
2. When is the best time to book a tour?
We advise you to book the tours a few months in advance since there is no guarantee that the hotels mentioned in the tour packages will be available in your requested time, especially, if you are planning to travel during peak seasons which are from mid-March to May and from late September to Late November.
3. How long does it take to process an Iran Visa?
Typically, visa authorization codes are issued within 1-3 working days. You can then collect your Visa in 10 days at the Embassy. We advise you to start the process 3 to 4 weeks prior to the date of your departure. Also, if you are a UK, USA, or Canadian citizen you should start Iran Visa process 2-3 months earlier than usual.
