Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Tehran

The Tour begins when your plane lands at Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKIA) in Tehran. Our representative will be there to greet you and take you to Wisteria Grand Hotel to rest for the night.

Day 2: Tehran

We will be spending this day visiting some of the best attractions of the Capital of Iran, Tehran. We will begin the day by visiting the National Museum of Tehran. This museum is the greatest museum of history and archeology of Iran. Then, we will be visiting the splendid Golestan Palace. This 18th and 19th century masterpiece of Qajar Era is inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage List. Next, we will explore and walk through the nearby Bazaar which is the oldest Bazaar of Tehran known as the Grand Bazaar. On this day, we also will be visiting the National Jewelry Museum which holds a rare collection of world famous stone gems and royal jewels that were gathered through centuries. Lastly, we will check out the Nature Bridge which is the largest pedestrian overpass in Tehran and a contemporary masterpiece of architecture. We will take you back to Wisteria Grand Hotel to spend the night.(overnight in Tehran)

Day 3: Tehran - Zanjan

On the third day, we will drive to Zanjan to discover its architectural wonders. We will be first visiting the UNESCO recognized Soltaniyeh Dome. This stunning turquoise-blue dome is known as one of the first examples of double-shelled dome in Iran. Next, we will be visiting Chalabi Oqli Mystic Lodge. We will be spending the night at Dadamaan Traditional Hotel.(overnight in Zanjan)

Day 4: Zanjan – Ardabil - Sarein

On this day, we will drive to Ardebil to visit the Sheikh Safi Ardabil Monument. This UNESCO site is one of the most special monument in Ardebil for its maximum use of space and its Iranian architecture. We will then visit the nearby Ethnography Museum. Next, we will drive to Sarein, the city famous for its natural spa regions. We will be enjoying Sarein’s Natural springs while we are there. We will spend the night at Royal Park Hotel. Day 5: Sarein – Tabriz - Jolfa

Today, we will make our way to Tabriz to visit the highlights of this city. First, we will be visiting the Blue Mosque of Tabriz. This 15th century historic mosque is covered with exquisite blue tiles. Next, we will walk through the Tabriz Historic Bazaar Complex which was inscribed on UNESCO list as an important trade center on the Silk Road. We will head to Jolfa to spend the night at Imperial Hotel.(overnight in Jolfa)

Day 6: Jolfa – Maku -Tabriz

On the sixth day, we will be visiting two UNESCO recognized monastic ensembles of the Armenian Christian Saints. First, we will be visiting the Saint Stepanos Church which is located on a wooded hill above the famous Aras River. We will also be visiting the Saint Thaddeus Church to discover the Armenian architectural traditions and elements. We will make our wat to Tabriz to spend the night at Elgoli Hotel. Day 7: Tabriz - Takab

On this day, we will be exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Archeological site of Takht-e Soleiman. This Zoroastrian sanctuary is known to be of much symbolic importance. We will learn about the Zoroastrian traditions as one of the early monotheistic religions of the world and its associations with this ancient site. We will take you to Ranji Hotel to spend the night in Takab.(overnight in Takab)

Day 8: Takab - Kermanshah

Today, we will be touring the famous archeological site of Anahita Temple. This temple has been attributed to the Goddess of fertility and love, Anahita. The Temple represent the elements of Hellenistic and Persian architecture. Next, we will drive to Bistun Archeological Site which holds ancient inscriptions and High Reliefs, drawn in three languages on a mountain. We then will be visiting Taq-e Bostan Archeological Site. The rock reliefs on the mountain illustrate third century AD’s Persian Kings and their glory. We will be spending the night at Laleh Bistoon Hotel in Kermanshah. (overnight in Kermanshah)

Day 9: Kermanshah – Khorramabad - Shushtar

On this day, we will be visiting one of the most impressive ancient castles in Iran known as Falakolaflak Castle. Currently, this Castle is inscribed on the tentative List of UNESCO for its special Persian citadel architecture. Next, we will be visiting the Shushtar Hydraulic System. This UNESCO recognized site is an engineering masterpiece of 5 century BC. The collection of bridges, dams, waterfalls, and canals represent the genius use of water in ancient Persian dynasties. We will be spending the night at Tabib Traditional Hotel.(overnight in Shushtar)

Day 10: Shushtar - Susa - Ahvaz

On the tenth, we will head to Susa to explore the Chogha Zanbil Ziggurat. This UNESCO recognized sacred structure is considered as the best preserved ancient construction in the world. Next, we will be visiting Haft Tappeh Archeological Site. We then will be exploring The Ancient City of Susa which is also inscribed on UNESCO list. The remains of this city dates back to more than 6000 years ago as one of the oldest human Settlements in the world. We will also be visiting the biblical Tomb of Daniel the Prophet. We will be spending the night at Pars Hotel in Ahvaz.(overnight in Ahvaz)

Day 11: Ahvaz – Bishapur - Shiraz

On this day, we will drive to the Ancient city of Bishapur in Kazerun. This ancient city holds rock reliefs, castles, temples, and the ruins of structures representing a mix of Roman and Persian Architecture. Just beyond this ancient city, Tang-e Chogan valley is located. Six main reliefs and stone carvings can be found in this valley which belong to the Ancient Sassanid Era’s kings. We will make our way to Shiraz to spend the night at Zandiyeh Hotel.(overnight in Shiraz)

Day 12: Shiraz

We will be spending this day visiting the highlights of Shiraz. First, we will be visiting one of the most glamorous mosques in the world called Nasirolmolk Mosque or the Pink Mosque. This mosque is world famous for its stained-glass windows. Next, we will visit the Narenjestan Garden. We will also be enjoying the beauty of the famous and UNESCO recognized garden of Shiraz called Eram Persian Garden. We will explore the historical center of the city by visiting Vakil Mosque and Vakil Bazaar. Then, we will visit Ali ebne Hamzeh Shrine which is a unique Shia’s holy shrine. We will be visiting the heavenly Mausoleum of Hafez where one of the most famous and respected Persian poets is laid to rest. We will take you back to Zandiyeh Hotel to spend the night. (overnight in Shiraz)

Day 13: Shiraz – Persepolis - Shiraz

On this day, we will make our way to Persepolis which is located within 53 Km of Shiraz. This UNESCO World Heritage site is considered as the gem of Achaemenid Persian Empire. We will then discover the majestic Necropolis which is located within 5 kilometers of Persepolis. The tombs of Persian Kings of Achaemenid are impressively carved out of a rock wall, high above the ground. We will also be visiting the archeological site of Naqsh-e Rajab Rock-Cut Bas-Reliefs. We will drive back to Shiraz to make a stop at the Sa’di Mausoleum, the resting place of another famous Persian poet in Shiraz. We will be spending the night at Zandiyeh Hotel.(overnight in Shiraz)

Day 14: Shiraz – Pasargadae - Meymand

On this day, we will visit the UNESCO recognized site of Pasargadae to discover the tomb of Cyrus the Great. Also, this site is a great testimony of the universal value of the Achaemenid civilization in Persia. We will proceed to the Rocky village of Meymand which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. This village is considered as one of the first settlements of human beings. These cave-like houses which were carved inside the mountain thousands of years ago, are still inhabited by residents. We will be spending the night at Meymand Guesthouse. (overnight in Meymand)

Day 15: Meymand - Shahdad

Today, we will head to Shahdad. On our way to Shahdad, we will visit Sirch Village which is located in Kerman province. This village is famous for its breathtaking view to a vast covered valley with cherry and pine trees. Then, we will visit the famous 1,000 year-old cypress tree which is located among the archaic trees of Sirch Village. Next, we will drive to the mysterious and wonderful Shahdad Desert that is a part of Lut Desert (Iran’s Natural World Heritage wonder) to start our desert hike. Also, we will be visiting Qantas (underground water canals and Shahdad Kaluts (huge natural structures rising from the ground) as the main attractions of this desert. We will spend the night at Lut Star Eco camp. (overnight in Shahdad)

Day 16: Shahdad – Bam – Mahan - Kerman

On this day, we will make our way to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Bam Old Citadel. This city and its historic structures represent some of the earliest human settlements in the desert.Next, we will be visiting Shazdeh Persian Garden. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a beautiful garden with a specific pavilion in the heart of the desert. We will then make a stop at Shah Nematollah Vali Shrine & Mystic Lodge. We will be spending the night at Pars Hotel in Kerman. (overnight in Kerman)

Day 17: Kerman - Yazd

On this day, while we are in Kerman, we will be visiting Ganjali Khan Complex which is consisted of Kerman Bazaar, Ganjali khan Traditional Bath House and Caravanserai. We will also be visiting the 14th century Jame Mosque of Kerman. What makes this mosque different from other mosques in Iran is that instead of minarets, there is a clock on top of its portal. We will drive to Yazd to spend the night at Dad Hotel. (overnight in Yazd)

Day 18: Yazd

Today, we will first visit an ancient Zoroastrian cemetery and the uncanny Tower of Silence. Next, we will visit a Fire Temple. This Fire Temple holds the everlasting fire that has been burning for more than 1500 years. Next, we will be visiting Jameh Mosque of Yazd which is known as the congregational ancient mosque of this city. Then, we will walk around Fahadan Quarter, the ancient part of the city, through its unique and old-styled alleys and mud brick houses. Continuing our trip, we will be visiting the Zoroastrians history and culture museum called Markar Museum. Then, we will visit the significant and ancient Amir Chakhmag Complex which is known as the symbol of the city. We will visit Dolat Abad Garden which is one of the 9 Persian Gardens inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage List. In the heart of the garden is located the Tallest Windward in the World. We will head back to Dad Hotel to rest and spend the night. (overnight in Yazd)

Day 19: Yazd - Na’in - Esfahan

On the nineteenth day of our trip, we will drive to the famous city of Esfahan. On our way to Esfahan we will be visiting the 1,000 year-old Jameh Mosque of Na’in. We will then head to Esfahan to make a stop at the Vank Cathedral, located in Armenian center of the city. We will be also visiting two famous historical Bridges of Esfahan which are the Khaju Bridge as the only tiled bridge of Esfahan and the lively Siosepol Bridge. We will be spending the night at Abbasi Hotel.(overnight in Esfahan)

Day 20: Esfahan

We will start this day by visiting the Chehel Sotun Palace which is a UNESCO Heritage Site that is surrounded by a great and beautiful Persian garden. The walls of the palace are adorned with mirrors, different designs and historical paintings. Next, we will walk to the nearby Naqsh-E Jahan Square. This UNESCO site, as the gem of the city of Isfahan, is the third largest square in the world. We can gaze at the splendor of the Square’s architecture, learn about its history and enjoy its tranquil ambiance. While we are there, we will also visit Shah Mosque which is a masterpiece of architecture and one of the finest examples of blue-tiled mosques. Also, we will discover the adjacent mosque called Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque. Then, we will walk through the world famous Bazaar of Isfahan through Qeysarieh Gate. Before heading back to Abbasi Hotel, we will visit the Music Museum of Esfahan to learn about several Iranian traditional music instruments.

Day 21: Esfahan – Natanz - Kashan- IKIA

On the last day of our trip, we will drive to Natanz to visit the Natanz Jame Mosque with its pyramid dome and the Sheikh Abdos Samad Mystic Lodge. We will then we will hit the road to Kashan. On our way to Kashan, we will visit Abyaneh Village which is located within 80 km of Kashan. Abyaneh village as one of the must-see villages of Iran is famously called the red village for its vermilion colored houses.
Once we are In Kashan, we will be visiting the UNESCO recognized Fin Garden which is known as one of the most appreciated Persian Gardens by its visitors. Then, we will discover one of the most visited Persian historical houses known as Tabatabayi House. We will enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of a Persian Bathhouse called Sultan Ahmad Bathhouse to discover the elements and features of a Persian Bathhouse. We will leave Kashan to Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKIA) in Tehran where our tour will come to an end.
