Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Baku

The Tour begins when your plane lands at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku. Our representative will be there to greet you and take you to Park Inn by Radisson Baku Hotel to rest for the night. (overnight in Baku)

Day 2: Baku

We will be spending this day visiting the highlights of the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku. We will start the morning by exploring Highland Park. Walking along the park, we will pass the Martyrs Lane cemetery where we can have a view of the eternal Flame Memorial Complex and the National Flag Square with the second tallest flagpole in the middle of it. We will also visit the Seaside Park (Baku Boulevard) which is located along the Caspian shore together with Mini Venice and National Carpet Museum. We will head to the nearby old town of Icheri Sheher to explore the Fountain Square, (Fevvarelar Meydani) and visit the Nizami Ganjavi Monument. While there, we will also visit the UNESCO recognized sites of Shirvanshah Palace and Meidan Tower. After visiting a Caravanserai, we will head to Azerbaijan History National Museum. We will head back to Park Inn by Radisson Baku Hotel to spend the night in Baku. (overnight in Baku)

Day 3: Baku – Gobustan - Absheron Peninsula - Baku

On the third day, we will drive to Gobustan to visit the UNESCO recognized Rock Art Cultural Landscape of the Gobustan National Park. Here, we can see the rock art images that represent the lifestyle of pre-historic times. Then, after visiting the nearby Petroglyphs Museum, we will continue our trip to see the impressive Mud Volcanoes from a close distance. Next, we will visit the historic Bibi-Heybat Mosque. On this day, we also will be visiting a fire mountain known as Yanardagh. Because of the massive gas reserves, this strange hillside is continuously burning with an eternal fire. We will visit Zoroastrian Fire Temple or Ateshgah. We will head back to Park Inn by Radisson Baku Hotel to spend the night in Baku. (overnight in Baku)

Day 4: Baku – Shamakhi – Lahic - Qabala

On this day, we will head to Shamakhi. Before reaching Shamakhi, we will pass Marza village to visit the Diri Baba Mausoleum. According to some legends, the faithful Dari Baba passed away in the middle of his prayers and after 300 years, his body was remained imperishable. After visiting this sacred monument of Shirvan architecture, we will head to Shamakhi to visit the historic Juma Mosque. Next, we will visit Yeddi Gumbez Mausoleum (seven domes) which is a complex of seven mausoleums that are built in similar architectural design. To continue our trip, we will head to the ancient Lahic Village to explore its cobblestone streets and historic monuments while hearing about its culture and traditions. Before heading to Qafqaz Karvansaray Hotel in Qabala, we will spend some time around Nohur Lake to enjoy its relaxing atmosphere in the heart of forests and mountains. (overnight in Qabala)

Day 5: Qabala – Kish - Sheki

On the fifth day, we will head to Sheki which is known as the city of Khans. Once there, we will visit the UNESCO site of Sheki Khans’ Palace. This masterpiece of architecture is adorned with splendid frescos. The significant colored glass windows are interestingly fitted together without any glue or nail. Next, after visiting the Sheki History Museum, we will explore the Local Handicraft Bazaars and a Caravanserai. We will head to Kish Village to visit the Kish Albanian Church that is considered as a heritage of Caucasian Albania. We will spend the night in Sheki Saray Hotel in Sheki. (overnight in Sheki)

Day 6: Sheki – Mingechevir - Ganja - Sheki

On this day, we will visit the city of Mingechevir on our way to Ganja. Once we have arrived in Ganja, we will be visiting the Ganja Shah Abbas Caravanserai and mosque. We will then make a stop at the Mausoleum of the great Azerbaijani Poet, Nizami Ganjavi. To continue our trip, we will get on an Off-Road car to reach Goygol (Blue Lake). We will be spending the evening next to this beautiful lake which is surrounded by green forests. We will head back to Sheki to spend the night in Sheki Saray Hotel.(Overnight in Sheki)

Day 7: Sheki – Gabala - Baku

On the seventh day, on our way to Baku, we will make a stop at Tufandagh Mountain Resort in Qabala. We will get on a Cable Car where we can have an amazing view of Qabala from up high (you can also try paragliding). Next, we will be visiting the Gabaland Entertainment Center which is an amusement park suitable for children. We will then head to Yeddi Gozal Waterfall (Seven Beautiful Waterfall) to enjoy the refreshing sceneries. We will be spending the night in Park Inn by Radisson Baku Hotel in Baku. (Overnight in Baku)

Day 8: Baku – Guba - Khinaliq – Baku

On this day, we will head to Khinaliq Village where we can take amazing photos of its spectacular views. Also, we will make a stop at Beshbarmag Dag which is famous as the holy and mystical mountain with five fingers. We will be enjoying the green and beautiful nature of Qachrash Forest. On our way back to Baku, we will visit the Qadim Guba to see the process of Carpet weaving by the women of Azerbaijan. We will head back to Baku to spend the night in Park Inn by Radisson Baku Hotel. (Overnight in Baku)

Day 9: Baku

You can spend the last day of your stay in Azerbaijan exploring Baku. You will spend the last night in Park Inn by Radisson Baku Hotel. (Overnight in Baku)

Day 10: Departure

Depending on the time of your International flight whether at midnight or early in the morning, we will take you to Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku.
